Blood
pressure recording in middle aged men
Going back to the early 1990s we decided to try and improve the health care
of men from 40 to 60. We invited them along to have checkups etc and made time
available on a Saturday am so that those who were at
work could come. When we looked at the number with their BP
recorded on EMIS we were quite pleased with ourselves. Unfortunately time moves
on and pressures increase. This is the situation at the start
of 2003.
Real General Practice is about juggling lots of targets and priorities.
If you push on the beanbag at one side it bulges out at the other.
