doctors will take on the challenge to cover the distance,
Dr. John Schofield and Dr. Reed Bowden.
John
Schofield : -
Born in Bradford.
- Doctor at Elsenham surgery.
- Associate Dean in London for quality medicine and
audits.
- Work overseas to help the Uzbeckistan medical system.
- Writing medical publications & building the consulting
company Qual-Med.
- Keen walker with charity work for the Coast to Coast.
- Grandfather of 4 and a wood turner in his spare time.
Reed
Bowden : -
Born in Ripley.
- Based in South East Asia with the British Army.
- Now semi retired he worked as a Harlow GP and currently
carries out consultant work and work for the Medical
education board.
- Carried out the coast to coast walk for medical equipment.
- Worked with the healthcare system in Uzbeckistan.
John
and Reed are GPs who have been working in hertfordshire
and essex regions for 30 years - whilst carrying out
in Medical education & training in various parts
of the world. Previous walks raised charity funds on
the UK coast to coast trail.
John & Reed have done teaching sessions in Uzbekistan
to help with general Practice development in that country.
The medical Education conference in South Africa has
also provided a stage for John and Reed's development
work.
